miss ava turns one

oopsie…where’d those last two weeks go? we were away at the first of the month for a little mini vacation and a wedding in oxnard. it was so hard to come home to the same ol’ hot weather. i’m done with summer. done. and then getting back on track with kids in school, homework, and all the fall sports getting started. it’s been a little busy around here!

okay, enough whining. now i’m moving on to some recent sessions. miss ava celebrated her first birthday in july and came in for a photo session. her mama always brings in the cutest clothes for her girls. this dress was my favorite!

of course there was cake! this one cracks me up. that’s a candle in her mouth.

and she brought in the rest of the family for a few group photos. see what i mean about mama picking the best clothes? these colors worked so well for this group image.
