Welcome to the studio blog of Kim Heffington Photography. I am a portrait photographer located in Goodyear, Arizona - just a few minutes west of Phoenix. I have the best job in the world creating photographs for expecting moms (and dads to be!), newborn babies, children of all ages, high school seniors and amazing families.

Here you'll find some of my recent session sneak peeks, some inspiration for displaying your photographs, product highlights and studio news and updates. You can get to the main website by clicking the link above.

another edition of showcasing your photographs

They did it again. I got another email from Pottery Barn showcasing lots of photos on family room walls. So of course I had to go over and see what they were up to. I have to say I am in love with so many of their ideas. I thought you might like to see them and get inspired, too.

This one is my favorite of the ideas they show. I like that nothing is permanent and the images can be changed around as your family grows.

Here’s another room that really appeals to me. Ledges are a big trend here for sure. I love the red leather slipper chairs…a lot!

Some more ideas with ledges…

I love the look of big prints without matting here. This has been in their catalog for a few years and I still like it.

I like the simplicity of this one. This is great for those of us who are “liner uppers”. :)

A fun idea for Dad’s office (or Mom’s!)…

PamN - This is so helpful for your clients! They will really appreciate it!

Alison - That first one is delish. And the one with the big unmatted prints has been one of my favorites for years too:) I have a few tear outs of it in my inspiration folder. Thanks for posting those... i need to do something in my own house.
