Holiday mini-sessions are back! I know it’s hard to think about the holidays when the temps outside are still over 100 degrees, but they will be here before we know it (and hopefully the cooler temps, too!).
The mini-sessions worked out so well for a lot of my repeat clients last year so I thought I’d offer them up again this year. The mini-sessions will work similar to the Mini-Mondays I introduced this past Spring. These sessions work great for families interested in updating their family portrait, or updating portraits of the kiddos. They are also great for getting some fun portraits to make fabulous holiday cards. We have lots of new designs for 2009!
The holiday mini-sessions will last no more than 30 minutes. There are several themes to choose from – so take a look and decide which theme best fits your needs this year. Session images will be ready to view within one week in a private, online gallery. The cost is $200 and includes 25 press printed cards. Of course you are welcome to order additional prints and products as well. The session fee is due at the time of booking your session and is non-refundable.
Be sure to call or email the studio to get your session scheduled soon. Once the time slots fill up they are gone. Of course you can always schedule a regular session any time if these times/themes don’t suit your needs right now.
Here are the dates and themes of our mini sessions:
October 9th: White Out
October 10th: Classic Brown
October 12th: Modern Gray
October 13th: White Out
October 18th: Classic Brown

White Out:
This was the most popular session I did this Spring so it’s coming back! I’ll be shooting on a white background – and anything goes as far as clothing choices! I encourage you to bring along bright, fun colors for this one. Keep in mind that not everyone has to match. Feel free to bring along props that you think will enhance the portraits (hats, scarves, etc.). Again, think fun, bright colors.

Classic Brown:
Just like the title says, this is a classic background. Browns, blacks, blues, ivories, tans, darker reds all make great color choices for this one.

Modern Gray:
This is another background that lends itself to fun, bright colors. However, jeans and white tops can still work, too. It’s really an anything goes kind of background with a more modern feel. Think Gap, J Crew, Banana Republic, Janie & Jack, etc.
