I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful high school senior this spring. The weather was perfect for an outdoor session at a beautiful resort. She was such a trooper changing outfits in hidden corners and closets. We had a good time with that! Such a natural beauty!

I love this storyboard mom chose.

Meet Brian – a recent high school graduate. I’ve photographed his older brother and sister, so this time around it was Brian’s turn. We held the session at his home and found all the nooks and crannies of great light around their property. We even rolled out the boat and got a few fun shots before the sun set on us. He’s a great kid and I have to say I love the hair!

Brianna – Class of 2009

This is going to be a BIG showcase. I had the pleasure of photographing miss Brianna for a second time. This session was for senior portraits (and we snuck a few of mom and dad in, too!). And boy, did we have a good time! I think I’m just going to let the photos do the talking here. She’s gorgeous, smart and a great kid!

We started with some in studio with a few different outfits…

and then headed outside to a local resort. we had to literally race to get there to make the sweet light – it was close! we walked all over the place until the sun went crashing down on us. it was worth all the walking and hunting for light.

We finished off the session a few days later at the pool, since Brianna grew up in the water. This was so fun! When her mom and I talked initially she mentioned doing something with the swimming aspect…and I spent a few days dreaming of some fun ideas. She was the perfect model for this! And I apologize for all those laps I made you swim and head flips I made you do, Brianna. But see…totally worth it, right?!

it’s finally cooling down around here – which makes it the PERFECT time to come in for senior portraits. here’s one where we mixed up a little studio and a little outside time.

i had the awesome opportunity to meet and photograph this beautiful teenager. she’s a pageant girl…but so not your typical pageant girl. there’s so much more to her than just a beautiful face. she truly inspired me with all of that she does! and seriously…she’s a great kid. good luck at your pageant this year, k!

this was a headshot session so she could get some images to use for her pageant. and because this session rocked, i have to show more than a few. she was a breeze to photograph, and so fun! we got to do several outfit and hairstyle changes. as we were wrapping up mom said, “well, i hope we got a few good ones in there”. oh boy did we ever!
